planetary gearbox manufacturer

Dear friends

My company is looking for a planetary gearbox supplier with products comply with the following specifications:

1. Power ranges from 2500KW to 10000KW.
2. Speed increaser
3. Input speed: 1500rpm and output speed from 4800rpm to 12375rpm

I guess it is not the right place to post this kind of question, but what I need is only the company names. I have been working on this for couple of months but with very limited feedback. Hope you guys can help me out.

Thank you

I can't believe I'm going to mention the company that canned my Dad the week before his 50th birthday... But he survived and thrived, so here goes.

Check Flowserve - if they can't do it, they should be in the right industry to know who can.

Allen Gears have epicyclic gearboxes in the multi-MW range, as do Maag (now part of Renk). Both are common in the turbomachinery world. Not sure about that top end speed for Allen, but Maag can certainly get there.

Google is your friend. wink

Thank you all guys.

Thanks mate, you are right, they use the similar gearbox as part of their product. I will try to contact them see if they can help me out.

I have contacted with Allen Gear and Maag, but their products are too expensive than what I expected.

RE: planetary gearbox manufacturer

Maag are among the very best on the market: that is the reason why they are able to charge high prices and still be in business after so many years.

What are you building / repairing?
