Dear All

Please provide me some information about below query
1. Difference between stud & machine bolt?
2. Which one is better for flange size more than 600 NPS to 3500 NPS as per AWWA standard flange class 150.
3. any standard reference for bolt selection for awwa flanges.

1. A Stud have no head. A Machine Bolt has one a head (try Google)

I guess stud is better because you can use nut on each side of the stud. Any comment please?
