Automatic Load/pressure increasing

(OP)
Hi guys

I was just wondering to see if any option like automatic load increasing or automatic iterative approach is available in abaqus or not...?
(i.e. start running the model with 60-N and then keep increasing the value automatically until reaching the plastic limit(Ultimate tensile strength or where failure occur)or something similar that does this procedure automatically )

Ramin

RE: Automatic Load/pressure increasing

You can use amplitudes. If you want the criteria to based on stress or displacement I think you would need to go the route of a user subroutine (UAMP most likely).
