Unspecified Tolerances as per ISO standard.

Unspecified Tolerances as per ISO standard.

Hi,
I have a question about the tolerances that are applicable for drawings created as per ISO standard, if ISO 2768 is NOT mentioned in the drawing.
Generally ISO 2768 will be mentioned with applicable class, for some drawings there is no tolerance mentioned and also there is no reference to the standard ISO 2768, in these cases what is the applicable Tolerances?, what ISO says about this, is this sited anywhere in ISO standard.

Please anyone help me

RE: Unspecified Tolerances as per ISO standard.

Tolerances defined in ISO 2768 are applicable on a print only IF this standard is clearly stated somewhere on the print.
Otherwise, definition of tolerances for dimensions without individual tolerance indication is incomplete.
Keep also in mind that this document is manufacturing process specific standard (for machined part), so if your print shows a part made in different mnfg process, the tolerances defined in 2768 may simply make no sense fot that part.
