Cooling water pipework for nuclear

What standard is nuclear pipe work made to and is there anywhere I can get my hands on this please?

I forgot to say it is an experimental facility fission so no actual power generation will happen. Would this mean it is still ANSI/ASME?

RE: Cooling water pipework for nuclear

Seems like ASME III sections NB and NC would be a good place to start.

They are expensive documents, maybe in a professional library, otherwise direct from ASME.

RE: Cooling water pipework for nuclear

Me thinks you should find someone who is VERY knowledgeable in this area. You do NOT want to screw around or "experiment" with nuclear.

RE: Cooling water pipework for nuclear

In the US, it would be ASME Section III and B31.1, depending where in the plant the piping was located. You can get copies of these standards from ASME, or from IHS (and online service), or as C2it said, a professional library.
