contact analysis in abaqus

(OP)
Hi

I am doing a contact analysis in abaqus im trying to model a truck moving across a bridge deck, I have simplified my model down to very basic parts but still cant get it to work, with a basic shell deck it runs ok but then when i partition the deck and rerun the model the truck lifts off the deck as it drives across i didnt make any other change to the model only partition the deck so cant understand when its changing it so much

I have attached the file with the partitioned deck

thanks :)

RE: contact analysis in abaqus

Your post is impossible to understand, and even a search of the internet can't tell me how to open a .cae file.

RE: contact analysis in abaqus

From http://filext.com/file-extension/CAE

"The CAE file type is primarily associated with 'Abaqus/CAE' by Dassault Systèmes. Abaqus/CAE is a complete solution for Abaqus finite element modeling, visualization, and process automation."

sorry the post is a little confusing im trying to model a dynamic contact analysis in explicit but when i make geometry changes to the part it effects the contact, the gravity load and the interaction should keep the truck in contact with the deck but it does not, I have attached the input file thanks
