Welding Procedure - API 6A RTJWN welded to SA106 Grade C (P1 grp 2) pipe

(OP)
Hi all. I have a P1 to P1 ASME welding procedure, and I would like to weld API 6A RTJ WN flanges to the P1 material. I would like to know if my P1 procedure will cover the 6A material, or if a new procedure will need to be qualified. If a new procedure needs to be qualified, is there a pipe equivalent that could be used in the test which will cover the 6A material? Please advise.

Thanx!
