Temperature Change in Bridge

Temperature Change in Bridge

Temperature Change in Bridge

(OP)
I'm trying to analyze the stress in various parts of a bridge due to temperature changes in the model. I cannot not figure out why the bridge will only displace on the right side when loaded or why the bridge will only undergo large jumps with small changes in temperature instead of incremental changes due to incremental temperature changes.

Things I've found: -I have fixed the right end completely and I get no stress on the bridge.
-I achieved the same "jumps" in stress using multiple steps with changing predefined temps in each step as well as using multiple time increments with temp change within one step

I've attached a copy of input file for a test bridge I've been using to apply later to my final model.

Thanks
