thread162-199032: Stormwater Sump Pumps

Since this was being asked in the past. And I ran across this thread to double check a project we are submitting. I figured some other person who isn't familiar with pump design would get some use out of my searching for a document I had lost. Took me a few hours in Google.

Use the LA County Sump Pump Design document located here, http://goo.gl/9V88R.

After finding the 50 Year Q from the TC Calculator and Hydrology Manual you plug and chug to get the answer which is on page 6 for residential.

Use 2 pumps and solve out Q for each pump.
Q for Each Pump = FS x Q/2
FS=1.25
Q=50 Year Storm from TC
