Multiple Selections in DraftSight

Multiple Selections in DraftSight

Multiple Selections in DraftSight

(OP)
I have been using multiple additive selections for quite a while by using several selection boxes (one at a time) to select all the entities that I want to modify. I opened DraftSight today and every time I start my second set of selections, the first set deselects. The only way I can get multiple selections is by holding the shift key while make in my extra sets of selections.

Did I accidently switch a setting the last time I was in DraftSight? If so, what is/ where is the switch to set it back?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just re-reviewed a search I had previously done for this. Down at the bottom of http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=318505 was a response from CorBlimeyLimey that completely answered this. There is a toggle between single and multiple entries when the Properties box is open. It toggles between a single and multiple selection arrow.

Big Shout Out to CorBlimeyLimey for the entry!!2thumbsup

RE: Multiple Selections in DraftSight

Thanks for mentioning Shift-Pick on individual elements. I had been attempting Ctl-Pick (without success) as in all other software programs we use. The help was no help.

RE: Multiple Selections in DraftSight
