the meter is already tested and connected in anther machines and worked well but , this machines which connected in the same transformer were burned when it conncted , i like to know for that , if the transformer has realation for that or not

RE: meter Burned

Yes, the transformer could have an effect. You could be getting a different phase to ground voltage compared to your other test. It's fairly simple, either the meter is a piece of junk or you're going over one of it's ratings.

RE: meter Burned

What kind of meter? What model? How was it connected? What range (and other settings) was it set to?

Also, what were the initial readings on the machine where damage resulted compared to the other machines?
