vfd-motor disconnect with early switch
vfd-motor disconnect with early switch
(OP)
I've Eng-Tip'd and googled and searched various vendor sites, but am not finding a suitable disconnect solution. I am using a 3HP 3ph 208v motor controlled by an appropriate VFD, and want to put a manual LOTO disconnect on the load side of the drive. I don't see anything manual with an auxilliary switch, 'early' or otherwise. Is this not a common practice?
I can probably get away with using an electrically actuated switch (contactor), but would prefer manual, and I don't need any bells or whistles (OLP, PLP, etc)...
Thanks
