JAGGED EDGES AND CURVES WINDOWS 7 UG 7.5.5.4

O.K., I was plenty happy with my old XP, but the computer guy put me on Windows 7. Now I have a graphics issue that we can't fix and everybody else on Windows 7 seems to just live with it. I have the same box with the old graphics card and other hardware. With XP I had no jagged edges or curves, but with Windows 7 I do. I am talking about when edges and curves are just off vertical and horizontal. They look like stair steps. The computer guy loaded the latest video driver and it made no difference. We are running an NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600. Is this card/driver related or is there something I can set in UG to improve the resolution? What don't make sense to me is that with XP it was good but with Windows 7 it's not.
