Empty mesh-problems by elements C3D20R

(OP)
Hi guys!

I have problem with mesh.
When I change the element from C3D8R to C3D20R, the error with mesh is appeared. I added a picture with it, You can see it. What can it mean?
When this mesh is full of holes the abaqus can not caluclate properly or even not at all.

Please help me...

RE: Empty mesh-problems by elements C3D20R

Correct me if I am wrong. All you did was: a) changed the element type from C3D8R to C3D20R and b) meshed it using one of the algorithms in ABAQUS/CAE by selecting the entire part or instance.

If that's correct, then try and write an INP. Import that INP back into CAE and see if it looks alright. If it does not, then you need to try different algorithms or meshing strategies (partioning, region-wise meshing .. ) but my guess is that that won't be necessary.
