Many thanks for the quick response.

I have to calculate for dropped object of 3.0Te fall from height of 2m, gives 59 KJ Impact Energy. I checked the 457191x98UB beam for shear through energy, gives 214 KJ energy dissipation.
There is crane operations above the roof, consist of beams and 10mm plate. the crane can take any kind of load limited to 3.0Te.

Thanks & Regards
Inam

RE: I am calculating Impact energy diss

This comes up all the time in these forums. Do a search and you will find all kinds of ideas/answers and NONE of them all that accurate because the variables are never completely understood.

Why does Ford, Chevy, BMW, etc wreck so many cars every year - just to see how they behave. If they could compute it - it would save a lot of cars.
