I have a facet or stl object and when I right click and pick highlight facet nx shows the wireframe of the polygons and brings
the display performance way down.How do I turn it off.

Thanks so much, I have learned alot of things from this forum and your knowledge of NX,Another quick question when I am in direct sketch mode working on a sketch or task envirinment
is there a way to hide the blue square representation of the sketch plane while I am generating the sketch or editing the sketch? Also are there no grid extents you can set in NX
sometimes when I am working on a small object it is bothersome to have the grid go off to enfinity, would be nice to set the grid extents to an appropriate size for the object you are working on.

While in the Sketcher, go to...

Edit -> Show and Hide -> Show and Hide...

...and toggle OFF (select the '-' sign) Datums.

As for the 'extents' of the Grid, sorry, they are infinte, by design.
