hi all
i am tring to genrate a tet mesh for a hvac ducting.
what are the common guide lines like skewness value for triangular surface mesh,element length,aspect etc etc.

Michel,

It depends on the way your CFD system is based on FE,CV or FE/CV. An unstructured mesh with most equilateral elements  do avoid numerical anisotropy....

use CFDesign, it'll do the trick without even thinking of the nature of your mesh....
