Test pressure vessels submitted to vacuum

Test pressure vessels submitted to vacuum

(OP)
Hi, perhaps this is a quite simple question, but i'd like to post it in order to have a confirmation.
I'm designing a pressure vessel with an internal pressure of 0,5 bar and Full vacuum.
The chosen norm is ASME VIII.
In the paragraph UG-99 f) the norm states that test pressure should be 1,3 times the difference between normal atmospheric pressure and the minimun design internal absolute pressure. Following this paragraph the test pressure should be 1,3 bar.
But as far as I know this paragraph should be applied if the vessel is designed only for FV.
In case we have an internal pressure that pressure should define the test pressure, so in this case the Test Pressure should be 0,65 bar. Am I right?
Thanks.

RE: Test pressure vessels submitted to vacuum

unless you calculate for mawp. then 1.3 x mawp

or customer wants test on map [ug-99(c)]
