Torsionnal stress in Beam 188

(OP)
Hello everybody,
I currenly working with beam 188 element and I'm using ETABLE fonction order to get stresss and combined it in order to plot it with PLETAB fonction. BUT i can't find the output for getting torsionnal stress. I think it is S:xx,xy xz output in output table but I know how to used it.

If somebody know the answer it will be very nice.

Best regard.

RE: Torsionnal stress in Beam 188

No such thing. There is a stress due to torsion but not a direct torsional stress output. Pure torsion will generate shear (stresses) in a section.
