Hi,

I am having an issue attempting to use the option "Z distance" within _X Values_ specification window.

I want to plot stress versus vertical location for a horizonal cylinderical shell. I chose "Z distance" because it is the vertical direction. But when I use this method, it simply adds the distance traveled in Z for each point along the path. It does not take into account that the path is starting to go down, and keeps adding z. So when I do a 360 degree loop around the outer shell with a path, the total z traveled becomes 4R, 2 down, 2 up, and I get stress coordinates assigned to these obscure values of 3R 3.5R 5R "Z distance" components. Does anyone understand how to simply use the Z coordinate of the associated point, or at least take into account that the direction of the path has changed direction.

Thank you
