Having trouble finding this bearing...

Having trouble finding this bearing...

(OP)
Looking for a 1-way clutch/anti-reverse bearing with the following dimensions:

3/8" (inside D) x 7/8" (outside D) x 9/32" (width)
Metric equivilent:
9.525mm (inside D) x 22.225mm (outside D) x 7.142 (width)

width could actually be any width up to 1/4"

This is actually a common bearing size but I cant seem to find a one-way clutch version.
They can be exposed or sealed and stainless would be best but for now I would really just like to find a matching size. Let me know if you guys can help. I have already tried VXB, Boca Bearings, GMN, Emerson, & WD-Bearings with no luck.

RE: Having trouble finding this bearing...

are you replacing a worn out one?

RE: Having trouble finding this bearing...

(OP)
No, im trying to improve on an existing design. After looking at what modifications I can do, the width can be anything up to 1/4", and the OD of the overall bearing can be anywhere between 5/8" - 7/8" as long as the bore or ID is 3/8" or .3750" (9.525mm)exact.

RE: Having trouble finding this bearing...

Have you got enough volume or margin to justify a custom part?

It may not be possible anyway. Needle roller clutches are typically at least 9mm wide, I think partially in the interest of keeping the needles aligned.

Maybe you can use a simple bearing in the space you've mentioned, and find room for a ratchet and pawl outside of there.

Definitely not enough volume to justify a custom part. I would need 5 of them at the most. I cant use a needle roller bearing/clutch due to the width. None of these links to bearings will work for me so far but keep em coming. The bearing in this link is about the closest size and design to what I can use, but im stuck on the ID/shaft diameter of 3/8" or 9.525mm.

Contact the guys from Cerobear (http://www.cerobear.com/). They are doing custom bearings in small quantities (starting at 5 or 10).
