Loading Dock Live Load

Loading Dock Live Load

(OP)
I am designing an elevated concrete slab for loading dock for multi-family building (USA). What is the live load requirement? Is there a section in IBC or ASCE7 that provides live load information for loading dock? I could not find it. Thank you in advance for your response.

RE: Loading Dock Live Load

I normally use 250 psf or 8000 pound point load per ASCE 7-05 Table 4-1: 'Sidewalks, vehicular driveways, and yards subject to trucking'.

May want to double-check with architect or owner that they won't want heavier loading though. This loading may not be adequate for HS20-44 loading, for instance.
