ASME Sec 1 Piping.

ASME Sec 1 Piping.

(OP)
The company I work for have been awarded a contract to install ASME Sec 1 Piping (Pre-fabricated spools supplied by others)on a new boiler. project is in Northern Canada. My company are the holders of an ASME "S" Stamp. As far as the data reports are concerned in my mind our obligation to satisfy the code is to sign the certificate of field assembly on the back of the Fabricators P4A form. We have been requested to supply name plate for the piping install I have no issue with this. My question is do we have to generate our own P4A form for the install & is there any issue with my company supplying the name plate. Thanks George.

No, see PG-109.1 and PG-109.2 of Section I.
