Encoding/decoding pendant signals
Encoding/decoding pendant signals
(OP)
Hello All,
I have standard wired pendant with buttons, estop, selectors,
total i need 12 wires to operate a machine 30m away.
Here is the question, how to transmit all signals to control panel using minimum possible wires, say 2 or 3.
I see sort of encoding the signals inside of pendant, transmitting, then decoding back.
Is there anything commercially available that is small enough to be installed inside pendant?
Or maybe some other solutions.
Thanks.
MHH

Carlo Gavazzi used to sell a cool system called Dupline that would do that as well, but I don't think they have anything small enough to fit in a pendant.
