Fire Pump Diesel Tank Selection

Fire Pump Diesel Tank Selection

Fire Pump Diesel Tank Selection

(OP)
I have designed a Fire Suppression system which requires 267 gpm @ 50 Psi. The Available Site Pressure is 30 Psi. I have made Fire pump selection to deliver 250 gpm and to satisfy the mentioned pressures. The HP of this pump is found to be 15HP. Now when I Design a Fuel tank as per NFPA-20, Total Tank capacity is 20 gallons (Approx.). I want to know whether such small tanks are available. If yes please let me know where can I make selection from. Also Let me know if the Pump HP (which is 15HP) is correct or not.
I have made Online selection for Fire pump from following link

Your Quick response is much appreciated.

RE: Fire Pump Diesel Tank Selection

If it requires 267 GPM why have you selected 250GPM?

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
