I know this has been done a 1000 times and I seem unable to find a link to it but does anyone have a link to John's fastener library i figure it is the best place to start when i develop one for the company that i am at

RE: Part Family Creation

Why not just download the Machinery Library?

When we introduced the Machinery Library I was 'asked' to refrain from any further distributions of my 'libraries' since they were NOT officially supported while the Machinery Library is (they felt it would be confusing at best). Besides, many of the Fasteners in the official 'libraries' are based on the various Family Part template models I had originally created (after I was 'asked' to stop giving my libraries away, I 'donated' my master files to the team responsible for the new reuse libraries).

Also note that at the download site the Machinery Libraries are located there is a document (Standard Parts Creation Best Practice_v1.1.zip) which includes information about how to construct Part Family Tables which can leverage all of the new features as seen when using the Reuse Library interface versus the older Part Family interface.

In our case, if it is possible, I continue using "John's fastener library". We tried variuos solutions modifying load options file, but the results sometimes were good, but sometimes not (nx do not load some parts from machinery library).
