RE: FEA Automotive domain interview tips

Are you simply modeling 3D geometry or are you doing FE modeling?

RE: FEA Automotive domain interview tips

1) How do you manage correlation?
2) Which fatigue methods are you familiar with?
3) have you ever specified a materials test for a new material? How did that go?
4) Do you do structural/acoustic modelling or just structural?
5) can you successfully model the insertion force and retaining force of a typical push in fixture? What are the important variables? What ranges would you use for them?
6) what is your approach to robustness?

Cheers

Greg Locock
