Pump selection

Pump selection

Pump selection

(OP)
I need a pump to provide 12 bar pressure deference and the flow rate is 2.5-10 lit/min
I searched and I find out that we could not use centrifugal pump due to high head loss. So do you think that we should apply a gear pump or something?
could you sugest me an available model ?

RE: Pump selection

What is the fluid to be pumped?

RE: Pump selection

(OP)
usually water, however, it is needed to pump diesel also

RE: Pump selection

Yes, a gear pump will work but you can also search for "metering pumps". There are many brands available like Milton Roy, LEWA, Prominent etc.
