Hello all,
I must draw a sub according API. I have API Specs 7-1 and 7-2.
There is information about marking recess in the 7-1. But there is no info about the dimensions of recess :(
I need deep, width and length of recess.
and should I show it in the technical drawing?

and the locatin of the recess??
outside of the sub and anywhere, may be in the middle??

I am not sure about the recess as I am not all that familiar with 7-1/7-2. A lot was changed. You may find what you are looking for in RP7G.

For the monogram, you need to be licensed by API. Get in touch with whoever handles you licensing and they should be able to get your answer. If you aren't licensed, check out http://www.api.org/certifications/ and it will point you in the right direction.
