Flexible Body Dynamics

Flexible Body Dynamics

Flexible Body Dynamics

(OP)
I am using NX 7.5 in native.

I am going through the CAST training for Motion simulation and trying to work on the Flexible Body Analysis. I am having an issue with trying to create a flexible link. I cannot seem to select the Flexible Link command on the toolbar because it is grayed out. I have already meshed my part and ran the solution for SEMODES 103 - Flexible Body. I am now back in the Motion Simulation and trying to enable the Flexible Body Dynamics under the Advanced Solution Options in the Environment window. When I select the Flexible Body Dynamics option and click OK, the Flexible Link command is still not available to select. It seems like my Environment settings are not staying when I click OK.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or may know what is causing this?

Thanks for your help.

RE: Flexible Body Dynamics

After 1.5 hrs at phone, the problem here is that the Flexible body module require an extra license from Siemens....hard to believe.thumbsdown
