Abaqus/Explicit. Why I can not represent the plastic strains (PE) ?

Abaqus/Explicit. Why I can not represent the plastic strains (PE) ?

(OP)
Hello,

Hello I am working with a concrete model in Abaqus / Explicit and I want to see plastic strains that occur, to find out where cracks will begin to occur.

As I read in the Abaqus documentation, to represent them in Abaqus / Explicit it has to be done in a set element. So I select PE in "field output request" in a domain of an element set previously created with all elements of my model. Once I submit the job (which does not produce any error or warning) and I'm in the visualization module, I don't have the option to represent the plastic strains. I also tried to get other variables of damage and I am not capable.

If someone could explain why I can not get the plastic strains or any other variable of damage I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Fran
