Teamcenter replace component with previous rev

Teamcenter replace component with previous rev

Hi all,

Not sure this is the best place but can not find a dedicated Teamcenter forum.

Does any one know a quick and easy way to change an assemblies BOM view/PSE to call up a previous rev of a component? This is what happened - I up revise an (NX) assembly and within the Teamcenter BOM view I imprecise and precise so that all components are showing latest revisions. Then say I want to show the a previous revision of one of the components, is there a quicker way to do this other than delete the latest rev component and paste in the old rev, as I could lose mating contraints doing it this way.

Maybe I should be doing this within NX??

(Teamcenter 8 and NX7.5)

Cheers,

Rich

Sorry guys!

Just did it really easy in NX, highlight part > right click > replace component > show revisions > pick earlier rev > good to go!
