C-Axis Mirror

C-Axis Mirror

C-Axis Mirror

(OP)
Hello,
I wonder if it is possible, to mirror CNC(5-Axis) C-Axis (for 180°) when I am in Manufacturing mode and the tool axis remains the same.
Thanks for your reply

RE: C-Axis Mirror

Could you provide a little more detail on what your trying to do?

Do you want to rotate the tool path 180 degrees? You can use rotate about a line.

What version of NX are you using?

Thanks for fast reply.
I am using NX7.
No, I just want to rotate machine head like on the picture.

RE: C-Axis Mirror

Perhaps not the most elegant but create a copy of the post with the C axis limited by some value (don't know where your C0 is...) so it forces C to stay on the other side. The post will then calculate the complement angle to get there. I hope this makes sense as NX is not in front of me. I do this for trunions to keep them from over rotating about A with impellers.

RE: C-Axis Mirror

Have you tried the ROTATE command under machine control?
