Vibration of Cantilevered Composite Floor

Vibration of Cantilevered Composite Floor

(OP)
I'm just analyzing a composite floor for vibration using the AISC Design Guide 11, and I'm not sure how to approach it. This particular floor section is cantilevered in two directions. By this I mean there is no column support in the corner, the two girders just cantilever out and meet. The design guide specifies a method for dealing with cantilevers, can this be altered to address this scenario? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Vibration of Cantilevered Composite Floor

Yes, but you're going to have to take Eq. 4.1 apart and adjust the effective mass and R factor, then put it back together. It is currently specialized for regular rectangular floor bays.
