Cantilever Column replacement

Cantilever Column replacement

Cantilever Column replacement

(OP)
I will be needing to specify a repair for a cantilever column that supports an awning. The concrete around the existing column has spawled. What options do you prefer for a flush mounted repair of this type. The columns are square tubes (carbon steel). I'm anticipating that my client will not want base plates or anchor bolts above the top of concrete, but I'm not sure how to avoid this other than to add a tapered cover to conceil the base plate and anchor bolts.

RE: Cantilever Column replacement

I am not sure how to avoid it either. Provide a sketch showing dimensions of concrete to which you are attaching. A photo wouldn't hurt either.
