if i have a tank wall 20 by 20 feet, wall 12 ft high. can i pour this monolithic without construction joint?

i will need waterstop if i'll put construction joint.
dont know if i need one though.

can anyone give me construction guideline upto how long can they pour tank wall without construction joints.

i'm referring to corner wall vertical construction joints and waterstop.

If that's the way you want to construct it, I would probably use a PVC joint with the seal on the outside of the wall with a bentonite rod in a keyway at the centre of the wall thickness.

You may want to put the joint in the middle of the wall rather than the corners.

With a 20' wall, depending on the reinforcing and forming available, you may want to construct it monolythically.

I believe that wall can be poured monolithically if the contractor has the right equipment. You could specify that you want it to be poured as a monolith.

I wouldn't want a joint in a tank that small. You lose much of the advantage of continuity around the corners. Pay attention to the reinforcement requirements for a liquid containing structure, and cast it in one piece.
