API-12F Conection Tolerence Question

API-12F Conection Tolerence Question

API-12F Conection Tolerence Question

(OP)
I am trying to figure out the Tolerance for the connections on top of an API-12F tank. We have some connections that are 22.5 Deg off of true vertical. It is way out but not sure what the standard is on this issue.
Thanks

RE: API-12F Conection Tolerence Question

API 12F is a "cook book" standard. It does not address any of the design considerations including tolerances of API 650. Better you use API 650 as a reference & then go from there.

Good luck!
