Modelling a thin layer in abaqus

Modelling a thin layer in abaqus

Modelling a thin layer in abaqus

(OP)
Hi All,

I used abaqus to carry on heat transfer analysis of coated disc, but i face problem with the thin layer of coating is there any way to include the thin layer. I found a way to define the thermal conducatnce between the pad and the disc but the temperature mahnitude is different when using the thermal conducatnce instead of the thin layer. If anyone have any idea how to add the effect of thin layer in abaqus without modelling??????

Regards,

Abdul
