Deleting a mask or wipeout from a drawing

Deleting a mask or wipeout from a drawing

I'm using Autocad 2011. The existing drawing I'm starting from has masked areas that are stomped onto the paper space to enable the text to be placed on the objects.
How do you get rid of these things (the mask)? See the attached.

RE: Deleting a mask or wipeout from a drawing

The "tframes" command should toggle on/off the wipeout border, allowing you to select and delete.

Carlb,

Thanks for the info. I tried what you say and it puts an outline of a shape on the drawing, toggles that on and off. But I still can't select it and delete it. It's not an object in the paperspace. Very strange. Any other ideas?

oops I wasn't in Paperspace when I tried this...what you said works. Thanks!
