suction of minimum 25m3/h exhaust gas

suction of minimum 25m3/h exhaust gas

(OP)
Hi,

I am currently designing cleaning system in which I need min 25m3/h exhaust gas. I have tried different mechanical pumps (side channel blower and piston air blower) all of them breaks down after few operating hours due to dust in the exaust gas.
I am considering using a water jet pump but I cannot find a suitable one with relatively low pressure and flow. I have a water floof app. 10 m3/h and the discharge pressure should only be above 150mb. Other solutions could be used as long as the can handle dust without breaking down. amout of dust is approximately 5 grams pr hours at 25 m3

If someone could help me I would be very happy.

The next thing to try, IMHO, is a Nash Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump.

You could also try an ejector (like the jet pump except it uses a compressible power fluid). It would require power gas pressure (compressed air or steam) about twice the exhaust pressure and you need a mass flow rate of power gas about twice your required suction mass flow rate.
