NX Feature parameters in Drafting

NX Feature parameters in Drafting

NX Feature parameters in Drafting

(OP)
Hi!
I have a problem with "feature parameters" in NX 6. I've created a treaded hole using the hole function, and set the properties to "Metric GSP" (ISO G3/8").
Works out just perfect, and it recognize the size and everything.

The problem is when I want to recognize the hole in drafting by using feature parameters, NX creates the dimension using a regular metric standard, and the result is a M16,7...
The proper result would be 'G3/8"', 'ISO G3/8' or 'GSP3/8"' or something like that...

Anyone have a similar problem/ or know if there is any way to solve it?

Or perhaps I just missed something really simple... :P

Cheers,

Johanna

RE: NX Feature parameters in Drafting

Hi Johanna,
have you tried the other templates in the feature paramter dialog in drafting? There are two metric and two inch tempates under the dropdow in the top of the dialog

Thanks!
Ugly result, but correct :)

Weird though, I only manage to add one of those dimensions to each view...
