Hole wizard rounding decimals

Hole wizard rounding decimals

I have Solidworks 2011 and it is rounding the decimal place for holes and angles.

I'll input 3.875 and it will show 3.880 when I put it to three decimal places.

For angles when I use a 45 deg angle it won't show any zeroes (like 45.00 deg) only 45 no matter how many decimals I set it to so I have to override the value.

I have to use linked dimensions. Thanks.

BTW it only does this for the hole depth.

RE: Hole wizard rounding decimals

For your angle issue: with a part template open, go to Options->Document Properties->Dimensions and change Trailing Zeros to 'Smart', or 'Show'.
I'm not sure why you're having the rounding issue. You might want to ask your VAR, assuming you're on maintenance.

I am a coop. Thank you the angle fix worked. I found it odd it only did that for 45 degrees and not the rest. Whenver I input the decimal i immediately rounds it in the property manager and when it shows on the drawing it shows the round with a zero at the end. 1.875 > 1.88 > 1.880. No one else has seen this before. I have tried restarting.
