IBC 06 vs IBC 09-Seismic & Wind load changes

Are there any differences between 60 & 09 IBC codes for lateral loads? Since they both refer to ASCE 7-05, I think there shouldn't be any difference.

RE: IBC 06 vs IBC 09-Seismic & Wind load changes

IBC 60 hasn't come out quite yet, so I cannot answer your querstion.

M^2: It was a Sunday, cut me some slack here bigsmile

Yup, I meant 06.

RE: IBC 06 vs IBC 09-Seismic & Wind load changes

The big changes come with IBC 2012 when ASCE 7-10 is referenced. Very few changes between IBC 2006 & 2009

RE: IBC 06 vs IBC 09-Seismic & Wind load changes

There was a supplement to ASCE 7-05 that changed an equation here or there. Look for that supplement! I think those are the only changes.
