NX7.5 HTTPS

NX7.5 HTTPS

NX7.5 HTTPS

Reading the docuemtnation for NX7.5, this version of the software has the capability to communicate with TC using HTTPS.

How can i determine if my installation uses http or https?

Cheers,

Nxj

RE: NX7.5 HTTPS

The only thing that I can think of is to look at your browser screen and see where the Internet address is listed as below:

http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=324887

Above is http. Those four letters would read https if that's what is was.

I am not a pro at this but I don't see what differnce it would make in this application .

Hi,

The HTTPS protocal for NX is intended to hardened the security of the NX traffic in a managed enviroment, typically throgh a specific netwrok port.

What the documentation doenst menetion is, if this occurs out of the box, or if it needs to be configured. hence the original question of how you tell.

Cheers,

NXj
