NX Flow - Setting up a mesh and analysis for a general pipe?

NX Flow - Setting up a mesh and analysis for a general pipe?

(OP)
I'm new to NX Flow/Thermal.

Basically, I want to create a general pipe or tube or something in which I can just input the length of the pipe, the diameter or cross section of the pipe, and other various properties. I believe in a general case this would be quicker than creating a 3D model of a pipe with specific properties everytime. I talked to a coworker and he said this can be done by basically using the centerline of a pipe and then inputting properties. Not sure how I would achieve this.

I thought of using a 1D mesh and defining a cross section, but for some reason it didn't work.

Is there a better way to do this?

Thanks
