Dear all,

when we use set-in type branch welding connection and set-on type branch welding connection.

RE: set-in and set-on welding of branch connection

senthil83,

You need to get a copy of the relevant Code, ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, which ever is applicable to your project and read everything related to "Pipe-to-Pipe" branches. I do not have access to any of the current Codes.

Question; Which Code applies to your project?

We are using the IBR code(indian boiler regulation) for the use of selecting welding figures for the header to stub attachments.
