Drafting: monochrome automatically turns off

Drafting: monochrome automatically turns off

Hello,

In drafting mode I always use monochrome display with white background. However, when changing the color of a solid (in drafting) using Edit Object Display, the monochrome display automatically turns off, showing a grey background and blue lines. So every time this happens I need to right click the drawing in Part Navigator and re-select "Monochrome". This is bothersome.

I remember once when a dialog box appeared asking me if I always wanted colors to be displayed instead of monochrome, and by mistake I clicked "yes" and "never display again".

Is there a way to reverse this? I can't find this setting.

RE: Drafting: monochrome automatically turns off

Go to...

Preferences -> User Interface -> General

...and select the second to last button from the bottom of the dialog labeled 'Reset "Don't display this message again"'. That should do the trick.
