How much pressure can hold standard 0,5" NPS threaded plug. Plug is screwed to pressurised body.

No experience with NPS, but sealing reliability of BSP plug (also parallel thread) is very poor compared to NPT.
We were hydrotesting (about 50psig) with 2" BSP plugs, and only passed after a number of attempts. Using thread sealant helps.
