Nodal Force and Reaction Force

Nodal Force and Reaction Force

(OP)
Hello,

so my goal is to extract the force in the y-direction at an arbitrary node. I have tried to use the NFORC2 variable to do this. I have a model with a prescribed displacement boundary condition on a side and then I looked at RF2 and NFORC2 at a single node on this side. These values do not match?

If I want to extract forces at nodes, I can't seem to be able to rely and NFORC2, and I can't use RF since that only applies wherever boundary conditions are placed.

Please help
