Anybody has ever used tray cables? Are there any induced voltage issues compared with armored cables? Cost wise, tray cables work out cheaper than armored cables. Any inputs would be appreciated.

RE: tray cable applications

We use tray cable without armor for majority of our circuits. Keep instrumentation and other low level circuits in a seperate tray from power cables. We have not experienced any interference problems.

Depending on the client's specifications, the final run from the tray to the individual motor, instrument or control panel is routed in rigid conduit or channel or just supported in areas where it will not be damaged.

All installations follow NEC rules on tray cable and cable trays
